H-AG No.1 by Amrita Marino
HA-G magazine reappropriates the word hag to ‘High Achieving Guys and Gals’. The dictionary says that a hag is a mean and slightly older woman, but my HA-Gs are people, either real or imaginary, (such as characters from films) that could teach us something about achievement. Issue # 1 is the Max Fischer issue. from the film Rushmore. Issue #2 is the Tracy Flick issue (from film Election) HA-G Issue # 1 is dedicated to the protagonist, Max Fischer from the film Rushmore. Building Blocks by Martin Frostner Studio
Building Blocks is a result of a collaboration between an architect and a client, but in this case the clients are children between 5 and 16 years old. Building Blocks is an exhibition that places children and their ideas at the centre of a new architecture – to challenge common assumptions and inspire new ways of thinking. Children between the ages of 6 and 16 have been invited to take on the role of a client and commission a building. The results are presented in this exhibition in Färgfabriken’s main hall as large buildings to be explored by the audience. (via Home — Martin Frostner Studio)
Memphis Menswear by David Weller
A catalogue and invitation designed for a collaborative exhibition between the Italian Trade Commission and the Central Saint Martins Menswear course. The theme of the exhibition was the post-modernist design group Memphis. Our graphic output also took a great deal of inspiration from the concepts within their work, including the use of contrasting materials textures, and decoration as an integral aspect within the design. Catalogue: 32 pages With Ghazaal Vojdani (via Memphis Menswear - David Weller)
