Calculated Risks by Kees Bakker

The catalogue of Calculated Risks: New Work by Faculty Artists was part of the so called exhibition at The Davis Museum in Massachusetts. The catalogue was handed out during the opening of the show and functions as a documentation of this special happening and the rich history of Wellesley College and its Davis Museum. Since this exhibition took place at the heart of the college, students were able to see and critic the work. The concept of the catalogue therefor comes from the idea of transparancy. One side of the page shows faculty members describing the work of their colleagues, the other side shows the actual art works. In the design these two sides influence each other, and together form the layout of the pages. Designed while working at Base, i.c.w. Min Lew. (via Calculated Risks : Kees Bakker)
