— When approached by the city of The Hague to design the DSO 2003 annual report we took the opportunity to explore and push the aesthetic boundaries of the conventional graph and turned all the graphs, including the content page, into works of abstract ‘art’. Every page in the publication displays a visual which can be read as a graph or seen as a work of ‘art’. The wrap cover displays all works together, generating a new abstraction. To further enhance this unusual concept, several graphs were exhibited on large scale canvasses in the city hall. (via ::: Toko. Concept. Design. ::: 61 (0)4 136 133 81 :::)
